Hooray, decided to go with a Borg theme for this site. Because everybody knows that adding 'us' after your usual name and mentioning assimilation every now and then is the first step towards perfection. You've managed to find your way to my one x one location, and for that, you deserve a cookie. Go on, find yourself a cookie.
Because listing 'lots of fantasy genres' is rather silly, I will add some suggestions as to what I do below. But really, if you have a plot that's interesting and fun to do, you can most likely convince me to do it.
* Note that fantasy includes all sorts of fantasy, so mutant or vampire would also count. However, check below.
What I will absolutely not do:
I have quite a few limits, such as the inability to fly, the requirement of ogyxen and occasional nutrition, as well as the urge to assimilate things. However, as far as RPs are concerned, I have none. And if you want to 'fade to black', just avoid the RP going there in the first place.
If you don't want me to stab you in the eye with a sharp object, try to avoid the following things. They bother me to no end and I'll dispose of you in the vacuum of space if they were to occur.
Canon Rape
Yes, I'm certain that you find the actor of Anakin Skywalker hot. Or that you would really like to get into Harry's actor's pants. But here's the deal, you don't. People who twist canon characters just to make their own made up character, or the other character they have the hots for, make out, are utterly annoying.
As such, I avoid all fandoms as far as canon characters are concerned, because I will be bothered if the character suddenly switched personalities to fit your erotic fantasies.
Elves in fantasy
Not so much elves, as it is unoriginality in general as far as fantasy races are concerned. Yes, I'm certain your elven princess is very pretty in your head. I couldn't care. I prefer the darker side of fantasy, orcs, demons, goblins, those kind of creatures. Your pretty elf princess can sit in a corner and weep.
Unrealistic Warriors
Yes, I am aware of the fact that it is fantasy. I am also aware of the fact that a muscular woman isn't in the top five of attractive bodytypes. But if you expect me to accept the fact that your anorexic hundred lbs character lifts a sword half their own bodyweight, you better start running. If you want to wave obscenely large weapons around, you're going to need the right body for it.
Anthro Folk
As you may have noticed by now, I'm a fan of originality. As such, I get tired of always seeing the exact same animals morphed in anthro RPs. I don't care if cats or wolves are your favorite animals, some originality wouldn't hurt you. Bears, elephants, horses, reptiles, there's so many animals out there you could pick without resorting to clichés.
The other pet peeve here is people who try to label anime catgirls as anthro. They are not. A human with ears and a tail is not an anthro. Neither is a human who turns into animals. Anthros have claws, fur, tails, ears, fangs, everything their animal counterpart has.
Drama Central Characters
Unless the plot calls for it, overly dramatic pasts are just plain annoying. Why does everybody's parents get killed in a car accident or by murderous raiders these days? If your character must absolutely have such a past however, make them deal with it. Don't just turn them into a sobbing emo who spends all their time getting on my nerves by not contributing anything but whine.
Alright then, if you've made it this far, congratulations! You survived the boring read that is my post, and as a reward, I shall grant you with my e-mail address.
I will RP over AIM or YIM as well, but if you want either of these, send me a quick PM or a mail asking for it. ^_~

Rules
These days, it seems rather futile to list your rules. If you were not yet familiar with the usual 'use proper grammar' and 'don't godmode' rules, you would very likely not even be reading this topic right now. Instead, I'll list a bunch of pet peeves later on to see what you should avoid.Genres
I'm fairly flexible as far as genres go, though I have a strong preference towards RP genres containing fantasy. If I wanted to roleplay sitting in a bar, I'd be sitting in a bar, not behind my PC.Because listing 'lots of fantasy genres' is rather silly, I will add some suggestions as to what I do below. But really, if you have a plot that's interesting and fun to do, you can most likely convince me to do it.
- Future Fantasy
- Medieval Fantasy - I have plots
- Anthro - I have plots
- Modern Fantasy - Rarely
* Note that fantasy includes all sorts of fantasy, so mutant or vampire would also count. However, check below.
What I will absolutely not do:
- Fandom RPs with canon characters. (See: Canon Rape)
- School related stuff.
- Incest stuff
- Slash
