What are your views on plagiarism and how to deal with it? I'm not referring strictly to plots here, though those are the most common. I've seen entire layouts and pages stolen.
I'm not really talking about inspiration or the occasional line here or there (I mean, there's really only so many ways you can reiterate "I do/don't do slash"). I'm talking direct lifts, without even a disclaimer that you didn't come up with the content.
So, if you were the victim on plagiarism, how would you react to it? Go "meh, nothing I can do," and move on, would you put up a wall of shame on your website, confront the plagiarist, or what?

Ehm, I'd probably confront the person but I'd be more flattered if anything. Depends on the magnitude of the crime really, but I'd still point it out. None of my works have ever been plagiarized though, as far as I know.
