Hellooooo, my name is Haley, and here is a bit about me: I sometimes enjoy chatting out of character, there are times when I abuse smilies, and I'm 15. Just in case any of that would change your mind about roleplaying with me or something, one way or the other. o.o
Now for the good stuff.
1. Have well-thought out characters with depth. Know your way around a spell check. Use capitalization and punctuation. Have a good grasp on grammar. Contribute to the plot creatively. Give me a reply I can work with.
2. I only do MxF. EDIT: I may be willing to do FxF for the Victorian Finishing School genre.
3. I prefer that we both double, since it creates more room for drama and plottage, but I can also play just male or just female.
4. I have no limits on anything. However, I'm not completely comfortable with roleplaying sex yet, so don't complain if I decide I'd prefer to fade-to-black or something. I don't care if it happens, but...yeah. And for violence...there's a reason I didn't watch any of the Saw movies, and that is because I don't like unnecessary gore.
5. Plots are vital to the roleplay. If you don't have one, and I don't have one, I'm sure we can come up with one together. It doesn't necessarily have to be anything big, where you map out every little move the characters make. In fact, I rather hate those plots, because that leaves no room for imagination. But we do need a reason for our characters to be wherever they are, and some idea of what we hope to accomplish in the roleplay. No, "THEY FALL IN LOVE" doesn't count. I have a few plots at the bottom that I would greatly appreciate doing, but we don't have to use those.

PLOTS:
Just a few plots that I've thought of/read and decided I'd like to try them. Unless it says specifically that I created the plot, credit goes to whoever really did think of it first. But that's usually debatable. o:
Beauty and the Beast - It is the night before the happy day when Belle and Henry (because we can't go around calling him "The Beast" forever) are finally married. The chefs are working overtime, and the majority of the guests are already staying the night in the castle. Henry, however, receives a call from a mysterious visitor--a village priest who reminds him that he is, in fact, already married, and it is not possible for him to marry Belle. *insert gasp here* In a panic, Henry calls off the wedding, blaming it on nervousness, and it is rescheduled to be two months from then. He immediately sends letters to his real bride, but receives no reply. As days turn into weeks, and weeks into months, there is still no reply, and Belle is beginning to wonder why Henry has been avoiding her lately. The former beast is forced to reschedule the wedding once more, and more or less shuts himself in his study, only emerging when nature calls or when he is absolutely positive that Belle isn't around. What will happen when the real bride suddenly shows up in the castle? And why is Fifi suddenly complaining about how inattentive Lumiere has become? This plot is 100% made by me.
Online Dating - Two people who met through online dating finally decide to meet in real life. The problem is, when they meet, they realize that they actually know each other. And hate each other. We can come up with a reason when we begin roleplaying, and we don't necessarily need to start where they're meeting.
High School - Two teens who are total opposites are brought together by the evil forces of their Home Ec. teacher during a school project entitled, "The Baby Project." They must take turns taking the baby to class, they must spend their lunchtimes together with the baby, they must spend time with the baby after school, and they must take turns taking it home at night.
American Revolution - Two people, one on the homefront and one soldier, communicate via letter during the Revolutionary War. The two people don't necessarily have to know each other--they could have started writing letters as a Soldier Care Package, similar to the ones we have now. In this instance, the letter could be meant for a Loyalist/Patriot, but the opposite side received the letter on accident and replies. Or the two people could know each other--for instance, a young married couple where the man is drafted and is forced to leave his pregnant wife behind. This plot was made 100% by me.
Baby Borrowers - If you haven't seen the TV show, it is a reality show where teen couples who want to have children are flown out to a common street where they are given a house on a cul-de-sac where they have to live together throughout the "experiment." (Cameras are always watching, however, so sex is a no-no.)
After the first night, the girl must wear a "pregnancy belly" for three days--it's basically a strap-on belly that is approximately the weight of the stomach of a woman in her third trimester. For each of these three days, the parents must attend a parenting class where they learn to take care of their children.
After those three days are up, each couple is "given" a baby by a willing family in the neighborhood that they must take care of for three days. There is a live-in nanny to make sure that nothing too bad happens, and there are live cameras in every room where the real parents of the baby can monitor their child and step in if they feel it is necessary. Also, the parents must now work for the $100 a day that they use to buy groceries and such. One parent goes to work while the other stays home; they can switch on and off, if they want, but they don't have to.
After those three days, the real parents pick their babies up, give advice and such to the teens, and the teens are given the rest of the day for rest. The next day, however, it starts all over again when they get toddlers for three days, and the process repeats itself as they must still work, then they get pre-teens for three days, teenagers for three days, and an elderly person for three days (even though I'm not quite sure why).
The point of the show is to discourage all teens who see the show from having children before marriage and before they're old enough. I thought it would be an excellent roleplay, as it puts a ton of stress on the teen couple and their relationship.
