www.facebook.com/#!/event.php?eid=166187946725743&index=1 Twelve years ago, we lost another life to homophobia, Matthew Shepard. A young gay man brutally beaten to death solely for his sexual orientation. As the twelfth anniversary approaches on Tuesday; I ask one thing of you all, Keep Matthew and his family in your thoughts. Remember. Light a candle. Wear Black. Spread the word of Love. Celebrate your pride. Take steps to stop bullying. Say a prayer. Wear Purple. Light an incense. Celebrate Life. Star a Gay-Straight Alliance. Spend a moment in silence or an hour reflecting. Volunteer. Donate your time or funds to PFLAG, Kristin Brooks Hopeline, The Trevor Project or GLAAD. Wear a Rainbow. Whatever you do; Do some good on this day of sadness. Attachments:
