[glow=blue]The Person[/glow]
Okay, so this part is more important than you might think. After all, you need to know what sort of thing you're getting into if you want to know if we'll get along roleplaying, so lets get started!
I'm nineteen years old, I'd like to roleplay with someone around the same age. That's not me being ageist, its just practicality; tastes and styles differ as age does, and I'm tired of putting up with highschool dreams or pretentious mid-20's writing-is-a-serious-business bullshit. On that note, I don't consider roleplaying to be a COMPETITION in any way (big word in case you were trying to skim ;) ) if one of us has a block, or simply not much to work with, and posts a short post about not much, then what the fuck ever, y'know? Just so the story keeps moving and we're still having fun, thats all that matters.
With that in mind, next subject!
[glow=blue]The List of Do's[/glow]
I don't list pairings (ie; ghost x mortal) as a genre, so as a note if you see something like 'Ghost', then interpret that as you want; playing a ghost and a mortal, two ghosts, two mortals who hunt/ivestigate ghosts [WHO YA GONNA CALL?!], all-in, m'kay?
Published Universes:
- Pokemon
- Legend of Zelda
- Kingdom Hearts
- Harvest Moon
- Star Trek: The Original Series
- Final Fantasy
Original Mixes
(I'm willing to roleplay ANY of the below with fantasy elements added in)
Ghosts
Bands
Time Travel
Space-Age
World Warp
Medieval Ages
Pirates
Anthros
Vampires
Misc Fantasy Creatures
'Gifted'
Cops
Criminals
Robots (think Chobits)
Post-Apocalypse
Slaves/Servants
Fairies
[glow=blue]Plots[/glow]
When you contact me, tell me the setting/type of roleplay you have in mind, and I'll tell you what plot or plots I have for it. I'm interested in hearing any plots you have, too!
[glow=blue]Layin' Down the Law[/glow]
1 - I expect literacy; I'm not one of those snooty roleplayers who's going to take a measuring stick and spellchecker to each post, but give me something to work with, be creative, and remember that the story is not all about you same as it's not all about me, and we'll get along fine
2 - No ratings cap, except for sex. I don't write sex. Cursing, violence, what-have-you... go nuts, dude, I don't care. Just don't be like, cursing every other word. It's not cool, in fact, it's boring to read, the words lose impact, and it makes you look like a twelve-year-old with his cap on backward.
3 - Formatting; because believe it or don't, I HAVE had issues with poeple concerning this. When someone is talking, it goes in "quotation marks", when you're done the post, some kind of -done- mark or 'your turn' comment would be nice. That's all I ask.
4 - This is more of a preference than a rule; for published universes (with the exception of legend of zelda) I prefer not to play canon characters. Because everybody has their own idea of how that character is outside of their game role, and it can be lame when another person's version is different. Not bad, but not what you were expecting, and when it doesnt mesh, it can either cause fights (not very often if we're mature) or make for a disappointing roleplay. Let's avoid that.
5 - Concerning sexuality (Straight, gay, bi), anything goes.

Congratulations, you read this far, and have decided you want to try this out with me; I'm so excited! (Or if you're smart you looked here first to see if you should even get your hopes up)
